Step 1: Create a Production Partner on Etsy
Due to Etsy’s API limitations, the production partner needs to be set up manually. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Publish a Listing on Etsy:
Start by publishing any product in your Etsy shop. You can create a test product if needed. Make sure your shop is set up first. If you need help with publishing a listing, check out this article for guidance.
💡 You can also add the Production Partner during this step, so you can jump directly to Point 5 after this.
2. If you have an existing product, access the Listing’s Core Details:
Open the published product listing and scroll down to the “Core details” section.
3. Change Who Made the Product:
Click Change next to the “Who made it?” section.
In the popup, select “Another company or person”.
4. Manage Production Partners:
In the “Production partners for this listing” section, click Change.
5. Create a New Production Partner:
Click Create new production partner.
6. Fill in the Production Partner Form:
Production Partner: Enter Subliminator.
About Production Partner: Enter: Subliminator empowers merchants with high-quality, all-over print-on-demand products.
Location: Enter: China.
Why are you working with this partner?: Select: I don’t have the technical ability or equipment to make it entirely by myself.
What is your role in the design process?: Select: I design everything myself.
What is this partner’s role in the production process?: Select: They do everything for me.
7. Save the Production Partner:
Once all the information is filled in, save your new production partner.
Your Etsy shop is now set up with Subliminator as your production partner.
Step 2: Connect Your Etsy Shop to Subliminator
Now that you’ve set up your production partner, you can connect your Etsy shop to Subliminator:
1. Log in to Your Subliminator Account:
Click on the account icon at the bottom-right corner.
2. Navigate to Shop Settings:
Go to Shop Settings and select Add Etsy Shop. Alternatively, you can use this direct URL: https://app.subliminator.com/#/account/shops.
3. Authorize the Connection:
Follow the prompts to authorize the connection between your Etsy shop and Subliminator.
4. Set Up Shipping Profiles:
Note that the integration won’t create new shipping profiles on Etsy. You will need to select an existing shipping profile when publishing a new product.
Additional Information
Order Sync: Orders are automatically synced every 2 hours. Only paid and non-canceled orders will be registered in Subliminator.
Fulfillment: Orders will be fulfilled as usual using original tracking codes (e.g., DHL, USPS), which ensures accurate tracking information on Etsy.
