Setting Up Manual Shipping Profiles on Etsy

Ensure Your Products Have the Correct Shipping Settings for Seamless Integration

Updated over a week ago

When selling your Subliminator products on Etsy, it's crucial to create manual shipping profiles. This detailed guide will walk you through the process step by step.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Log in to Etsy:

    • Go to Etsy and log in to your seller account. If you don’t have an account yet, click on “Sign in” and then “Register” to create one.

  2. Access Shop Manager:

    • Once logged in, click on "Shop Manager" at the top right corner of the Etsy dashboard. This is your control center for managing your Etsy store.

  3. Navigate to Settings:

    • In the left-hand menu, you will see various options. Click on “Settings” to expand the menu, and then select “Shipping settings”. This is where you will manage how you ship your products.

  4. Create a New Shipping Profile:

    • Click on the “Add a shipping profile” button. A form will appear where you need to fill in the details for your shipping profile.

    • Profile Name: Give your profile a descriptive name (e.g., “Standard Shipping”).

    • Origin Zip Code: Enter the zip code from where the items will be shipped.

    • Processing Time: Choose how long it will take you to prepare the item for shipping after the order is placed.

    • Shipping Prices: Enter the shipping rates for different destinations (domestic and international). This is crucial because these rates will be added to your product prices when customers check out.

    • Free Shipping: If you offer free shipping, you can select this option.

  5. Set Manual Shipping Rates:

    • Ensure that all shipping rates are entered manually. Subliminator does not support calculated shipping profiles, so avoid selecting any automated shipping rate options.

  6. Save the Profile:

    • Once all details are filled out, click the “Save” button to create your shipping profile. You can create multiple profiles if you have different shipping needs for various products.

Note: Subliminator does not support calculated shipping profiles. Ensure all profiles are set to manual to avoid integration issues.
