I do not have Photoshop. What can I use instead?

You do not need Adobe Photoshop to create designs for Subliminator products. You can use other design software or create your designs directly in the Subliminator Design Editor.

While Adobe Photoshop is recommended for working with Subliminator design templates, it is not required. There are several alternatives available depending on your workflow and experience.

Please note that the applications below are third-party software. Subliminator does not provide technical support for these programs.

Design directly in Subliminator

If you don't have Photoshop or another design application, you can create and customize products directly in the Subliminator Design Editor.

The Design Editor allows you to:

  • Upload your own images and artwork

  • Add and edit text

  • Use built-in clipart and design elements

  • Position and resize your designs

  • Preview your product before publishing

This is a great option if you want to create products without using external design software.

Paid alternative

Affinity Photo

Affinity Photo is a professional image editing application that supports PSD files and many of the features needed to work with Subliminator templates.

Free alternative

Photopea

Photopea is a free, browser-based image editor that closely resembles Adobe Photoshop. It supports PSD files, layers, smart objects, and many Photoshop features, making it a popular choice for working with Subliminator templates.

Choosing the right design tool

If you plan to use Subliminator PSD templates, choose software that can:

  • Open PSD template files

  • Preserve layers and smart objects

  • Export high-quality PNG files

  • Work with RGB color profiles, as recommended for Subliminator designs

Need design templates?

You can download the latest design templates from the Product Catalog in your Subliminator account. Each template includes the correct dimensions, bleed areas, and safe zones to help you create print-ready artwork.
