If you receive an "Error getting pay key" message or cannot connect your PayPal account, the authorization between PayPal and Subliminator may have expired.
PayPal authorizations are valid for a limited time. If your PayPal account was connected more than a year ago, you'll need to reconnect it to continue processing payments successfully.
How to reconnect your PayPal account
Follow these steps to reconnect your PayPal billing method:
Log in to your Subliminator account.
Go to Billing.
Select Billing Methods.
Remove your current PayPal billing method.
Add your PayPal account again by following the on-screen instructions.
Once the connection has been reauthorized, you should be able to complete payments normally.
Still having trouble connecting?
If reconnecting your PayPal account does not resolve the issue:
Make sure you're logging into the correct PayPal account.
Confirm that your PayPal account is active and in good standing.
Check whether PayPal is requesting additional verification or permissions.
Try reconnecting using a different browser or an incognito/private browsing window.
