Starting from July 1st 2021, all commercial goods imported into the EU from a third country or third territory will be subject to VAT irrespective of their value. For more information on how this will work, please refer to the following article:

How will this work for you with Subliminator?

On July 1st 2021 you will be able to go into Subliminator > Billing > VAT-IOSS and add your IOSS number. That number will be used by us to print on the shipping labels, to make sure the parcel to your customer in the EU does not get held up by the customs of that country.

For further information on how to register an IOSS number as a resident and non-resident of EU we recommend you to contact an accountant on how this can be done, as this is different per country.

This also means that Subliminator will no longer collect any VAT from merchants that are based in Europe but have not provided any VAT number.
