What changed?
Products that support 3D preview now open in a simpler Creator. Designing is now separate from publishing to a store:
Creator: design your product with a live 3D preview.
Add to store: a separate flow for mockups, description, pricing and publishing.
You no longer need to go through mockups, description, pricing and publishing just to create a product.
Create a product on Subliminator only
Go to Product Catalog and choose a product with 3D preview.
Design it as usual: upload images, add text or background layers.
Check the design in the 3D view.
Click Create product.
Your product is saved in My products with the status Ready.
Publish to your store
You can start from either place:
From the Creator: click Add to store in the header while you're designing.
From My products: open a product and click Add to store.
Add to store takes you through 4 steps:
Mockups: choose which mockups to generate. If you don't choose any, flat mockups are used.
Describe: add the title and description.
Pricing: set a retail price for all regions or for each region. Check the Profit column.
Publishing: choose your stores and set the GPSR details, product status, tags and collections for each store.
Click Publish changes. Your product goes live in your stores and appears in My products.
⚠️ Leaving before you publish? If you started from the Creator, click Save draft first. Otherwise your progress will be lost. Learn more about drafts.
Publish to several stores at once
Pricing and Publishing are now separate steps, so you choose your stores in the last step. You can select more than one store at the same time.
A separate product card is created in My products for each store you publish to.
Save your GPSR details once
You no longer have to fill in your EU GPSR (General Product Safety Regulation) details every time you publish. Add them once in your shop settings, and they're filled in automatically in the Publishing step.
To manage them, click Manage GPSR profiles in settings in the Publishing step.
Which products use the new Creator?
Only products with 3D preview. You can find them under 3D Products in the catalog. All other products still use the current Creator, and publishing works the same way as before.
Products you created in the old Creator stay in My products, but they also will have their own product page.
Does creating a product affect my store?
No. Create product only saves it on Subliminator. Nothing is sent to Shopify or Etsy until you publish it on your store.
